Mysteries of Salt and Sea.
Here's the culmination of all my hard work over the past few months, I still feel like I should be working on it now!! My paintings illustrated myths and legends of the sea taking influence from ephemera and tattoo designs.
The lower picture shows our mini stall which we ran throughout the exhibition (you can see my screen printed flapper girl up on the left). The stall went down very well, we had a lot of great feed back from visitors. Its really motivated me to do more screen prints and hit up the book fairs.
I've got a lot of exciting ideas to keep me going!

constant work in progress
These lovely little Russian dolls where designed for a postcard, devised and completed it in one day.
Russian Dolls seemed appropriate with my obsession with Russia, folk and strange trinkets. The rose is a little nod towards my tattoos aswell. =]
put a smile on my face to see it completed without too many complaints!

Another Snow Day: Why So Blue?
Another snow day means taking my multitude of cameras for a walk. All film today so its just a Polaroid I have to show until the rest are developed. The cold sent it blue, looks a little eerie and aged.
Should have a good lot of reference images of snowy houses and people wrapped up to work from later.
Besides messing up my tattoo appointment its been a nice quite day.

getting there.
I've tried and fail with working on my wood and I think I have finally got it right this time. Its still needs tidying up a little, but I'm pleased with it. I will continue to explore with paint and wood in this way now that I've got a bit more of a method.
I'm feeling more confident with my developing visual identity.
Actually being happy makes a hell of a difference.
